After Christmas, you can take your real Christmas tree to our recycling centre in Morden, or we can collect and compost it for free.

If you put your tree out for collection before 6am on Sunday 8 January 2017 and we still haven't collected it, you can report the missed collection below.

Report a missed collection

Please remove the decorations and put our tree at the front edge of your property so it is visible from the pavement, but don't put it on the pavement.

The trees we collect are either composted or turned into chippings which will be used as a mulch to spread on flower beds.

Reduce waste: buy a tree with roots

If you have a garden, why not buy a Christmas tree with roots next year? You can replant it in a tub or in your garden to reuse each year. This is better for the environment, as the tree will absorb carbon dioxide while growing throughout the year.
