Services we offer

We can offer the following services to people over the age of 18 with a hearing impairment:

  • assessment of needs
  • register of deaf or hard of hearing people
  • Carers Act Assessment to informal carers
  • advice on welfare benefits or grants
  • provision of equipment, information, advice and refer to other relevant agencies
  • information on direct payments and personal budgets
  • links with local and national organisations to promote the welfare of people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

There is a drop-in centre at Merton Civic Centre on Wednesdays between 2.00pm and 4pm specifically for Deaf people who use British Sign Language.
